What is ClimateIndex™?
ClimateIndex™ is a weighted sum model that gives an overall score for physical climate impacts to a property. It projects changes in physical risks from flooding, natural ground instability and coastal erosion. It also provides a rating of future climate risk of the property, based on Bank of England/PRA guidelines.
ClimateIndex™ gives an explanation of the variance between these ratings, to show the change between time periods. It also provides a property level assessment and access to further guidance and support on how to advise your client.
How does ClimateIndex™ work?
Here is Jess Sutcliffe, Product Manager who explains how ClimateIndex™ works in more detail, why we have developed it and how it can help your clients consider climate risk in the transaction.
